Nero
August 19th, 2007 Posted in Install, Nero, SoftwareI had the need to install Nero 7 today, reasons aside I downloaded the trial as it was all I needed. Luckily I found the ~370mb file on my isp’s download mirror, (http://ftp.iinet.net.au/pub/nero/software/Nero7/) meaning that it won’t come off my tiny 7 gigabyte download limit!
So I double click it (pretty standard) to start the installation, after a 30 seconds of it fart assing around (extracting) it gets to this page with some sort of terms and conditions, but it was terms and conditions for installing the ask toolbar!
What next? are virus’s, trojans and adware going to ask you to accept its terms and conditions so that it can screw up your system? I’m not firing down the ask toolbar nor nero saying its a virus, but ever since when does adware in a program have a terms and conditions that you need to accept before installing it?
